I have played and competed in racquetball for 30 years. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration in Human Resources, and have worked for over 10 years as a Director of Human Resources. My success on the racquetball court was not without learning to over come and deal with physical challenges presented by being born with Cystic Fibrosis, a respiratory disease that hampered my lung capacity, whereby I competed and won tournaments with 30% FEV1. After a successful double lung transplant I have regained my ability to breathe, and have learned from top coaches as Jim Winterton and Jo shattuck-to help others learn racquetball, and play better. I currently hold two professional Instructor level certifications one from USAR and one from AMPRO, in racquetball. I coordinate and run racquetball leagues and tournaments, as well as instruct at RIT college and on an individual private and semi-private basis. I compete in the Open level of racquetball play in singles and doubles.I have been a certified instructor since 2006, and attained pro-level in 2010. My belief is that all athletes can learn and grow their skills, and it is my job to move them along that path with encouragement and patience. I strive to make my video analysis informative, but point out what students are doing well, and what they may want to change to help their play and improve their outcomes as much as possible by using video instruction,
